It is suitable for level measurement in storage containers, reactors and process vessels, even under difficult process conditions. With its various antenna versions and materials, VEGAPULS 62 is the optimal solution for almost all applications and processes. Its wide temperature and pressure range makes project planning simple.

The ranging principle of VEGAPULS 6X

Principle:The instrument emits a continuously frequency-modulated radar wave through a lens antenna. 
The transmitted signal is reflected by the medium and received by the antenna as an echo.
The frequency of the received signal always deviates from the transmitted frequency, and the difference in frequency is proportional to the distance.

C&K band:Measure the running time of the radar pulse

The distance is determined by measuring the running time of the wave
